I think that this is probably one of the most charming eateries in the city, and it's perfect for a brunch or an afternoon tea, even a boozy one!
Very early I walked in that neighborhood on my way to an appointment where I didn't have to be until an hour later. 'L' heure pour un bon café' I thought!
This café looked so nice and 'coquettish' that I immediately settled on the first free spot.
I saw one after the other hearty dishes passing by: poached egg and salmon, well-filled salads with nice fresh bread, good avocado toast and fresh, homemade lemonade. The menu includes a Mediterranean brunch, artisan cakes, specialty coffee, cocktails, vermut and afternoon tea.
I quickly walked in to see what sweets were on offer. What a cool interior! A mix of vintage with Spanish details. Beautiful!
All the cakes looked delicious and it was difficult to make a choice. In the end I didn't take anything because I was already supposed to eat something with the chef I had the appointment with.
So that cake is definitely for next time and for now: only that 'bon petit café'!
