I actually ran into this. The terrace was quite full and what I saw on the table absolutely attracted me.
A lunch menu for € 12.90 with 3 courses and a drink! I sat down for that.
The service is super friendly and you can hear from the accent of the owner, Aline, that she was French. That was a lot easier for me to chat with her! Together with her husband, who is also in the kitchen, she runs this fantastic restaurant where everything, but really everything, comes from local suppliers.
I still think that's the best way to promote authentic cuisine in a country and also to support local businesses. You can see and taste that the products have not made a long journey, whether by truck, train or plane.
Inside it is spacious and with an open kitchen. It looks modern but with a personal touch. Here and there you see La Douce France in the small details on the wall, but also in the typical and too tasty French Gateau fondant au Chocolat. In the evenings I am sure that this is a very cozy place where you can sit for hours!
Belleville offers a great selection of tapas-like dishes to share (or not ) or more traditional main courses.
The selection of cheese is not to be forgotten either. For wine amateurs, the wine selection is large and the service provided will help everyone chose the perfect one.
I don't think they really need publicity because people who like this kind of food know where to find the place!
An absolute must in a cozy neighborhood!
